Halloween parties, dressing up, Trick or Treating (for the kids!), firework displays, decorating your home.  Past or present, what things do you do to celebrate Halloween and Bonfire Night

I usually go see fireworks for bonfire night! Don’t really do very much for Halloween!

I LOVE firework displays.  I used to be a right ‘it’s too loud/cry to go home’ wuss when I was young… 5 years old I think, so that’s credible.  Writing your name with sparklers, then into the bucket of cold water.  I’m tempted to take my 2-year to a display this year, but have a nagging feeling it’ll end in tears!...

I love Guy Fawkes night - even as a kid I got a real thrill from the fireworks, sparklers, staring into the flames and most years either go to a public display or to friends’ houses with a big group. Hallowe’en I love to carve the pumpkin but I don’t like the trick or treat stuff - so Americanised. Don’t have kids myself but hate the thought of them knocking on people’s doors and begging. Having said that, I always make sure I have something in on the night (if I’m in) incase I get any of the little terrors visiting!!! (They have to be in good costumes though…)

I remember when I went to the USA Halloween over there well you couldnt get away from it.  I think its more of an American thing and doesnt really get me interested much.  Bonfire night well I love it!  I dont buy fireworks that often but love going to displays and just love fireworks!
