What do you think of the new M&S advertorial campaign?

M&S are keen to know what you think of the adverts they’ve created to promote their new product lines to Metro readers. They’re open to any reactions, suggestions, comments or advice you’d be willing to share.

How do you think they stand out in Metro? What do you think of the strap lines they’ve used or the pages they have been placed on? Do you like the imagery? Would they make you look out for these products? Do you remember seeing these ads in Metro recently? Did you try anything new at M&S as a result? We want your thoughts….

I have noticed the adverts in Metro.
I thought they looked very tasty, but it hasn’t made me go into M&S.
So I have not purchased any.

I usually go to Boots for my lunch.
I buy my lunch 2 or 3 times a week.

I too have noticed the adverts in Metro, but the cost to buy a lunch that would satisfy my appetite at M&S is just too prohibitive for my pocket, although I do like their food. I wish them all the best with their new ranges but I just won’t be able to justify buying them - home made credit crunch flavoured sarnies for me for the next few years I think.

I did see the adverts in the metro and thought they made the products look appealing.  The shaker salads look really yummy!

I liked the idea of the little treat pots as well, and had a look at them when I was in store last week; but we are fast approaching the summer holiday period and I am trying to be good (well better anyway…) and noticed that they are still so calorific for such a small thing…I think i’d rather have one of their ‘count on us’ desserts.

i do think the new adverts are eyecatching, as the freebie promotions are actually quite tempting!  I’ve not taken advantage of it myself as there is not a branch close enough to my workplace to make it worthwhile - not to mention the fact that i would have to remember to take the voucher with me too!

To be honest I really don’t remember the M&S adverts!
