What products from the past would you bring back?

In 2007, the discontinued Wispa chocolate bar made its way back to our shelves after disgruntled fans demanded its return.  If you could resurrect any product (or service) from the dead, what would it be and why?

Without a shadow of a doubt - I’d desperately like Tab Clear back!

What’s tab clear?

I haven’t seen Trios in a while, what happened to those?!  Lovely chocolate covered biscuits with a delciious toffee flavoured fondant in betwen.  Yum, I could eat one now!

I would love them to bring back the Cabana chocolate bar. It had like Jam and coconut in it, lovely.

Giant Parma Violets please!  I know you can still get them on retro sweets websites, but they really should be available in the shops now.  If they are available in the shops, they aren’t in Leicester…!!

I’d forgotten about those - good call!

I’d like to see Texan bars and lots of the old TV show linked Corgi and Dinky Toys (UFO, Space 1999 etc), as long as they are made to the same ‘recipe’ and not with cheape rmaterials to save the company costs. I missed out on those as a kid (too expensive at the time), but I’d love to get them now for my kids - well constructed, the parts worked and rarely broke.

TOFFOS. (Then maybe a Texan bar - “a man’s gotta chew what a man’s gotta chew”)!

Cheeselets.  They brought them back for Christmas, I want them all year round.

Go back to pre-degraded versions of existing products.  The Blackcurrant content of Ribena is down to almost nothing - go to Lidl or Aldi you can get 50% jiuce blackcurrent squash for less than half the price or Ribena.

Fruit Spangles - they were not particularly nice but I like the name.

VitBee bread. It had some great chemicals that made it taste like no other bread.

Are BN biscuits still around?
I used to love them as a child, and always thought the adverts were great with their (irritatingly) catchy ‘bn, bn’ song!

I would cut off a toe to see Jolly Ranchers available again in the shops. In 6th form 12 years ago I used to have at least one packet every day, I was actually nicknamed the Jolly Rancher. They were the fittest sweets in the world. My girlfriend actually got some imported from Canada for me on my last birthday but they came in a bag and weren’t the same shape, they have to be in the original square packet, and of the same square shape to really be Jolly Ranchers in my eyes. I always look in the classic sweet shops for them but no joy, so if anyone knows if it is still possible to get them from anywhere, let me know!!

I remember Tab! A fizzy pop that tasted of dentist’s mouthwash. I liked it!

I would say bring back the cappuccino aero, but I used to buy multi-packs of them and I try to watch my weight.

Good grief, just reading the comments above brings memories flooding back!

My short list would be:
TAB - Remember the can but never tasted it.
Double Decker WITH raisins - Tasted so much better
Hubba Bubba original flavour gum and fizzy drink

and finally

Trio - Original advert on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-V-KCY7SMU

The ‘YES’ chocolate coated cake bar with layers of cocoa/hazelnut paste filling! It’s a delicious treat! I saw them when I was in Belgium! Awesome.
