London Elections
In the week of the London Mayoral elections we asked you about who you intended on voting for. Boris had the biggest share of your votes at 43% - though he only had an 8% lead, as Ken was hot on his heels! So, as a collective you were in line with the actual London vote:
| Boris Johnson | Ken Livingston | |
|---|---|---|
| Urban Lifers' voting intention | 43% | 35% |
| London vote overall | 42% | 36% |
Neighbours
There is little love lost between some of you and your neighbours, with one third finding them unfriendly. Edinburgh was felt to be the least friendly, whilst Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and the East Midlands came up trumps with around three quarters of you living there on friendly terms with your neighbours.
A whopping 40% of you have encountered problems/disputes with your neighbours, ouch! General rudeness and excess noise were the main causes of disputes, though troublesome children, threatening behaviour and littering neighbours were up there too. On the plus side, some of you are still managing to make friends out of your neighbourly situation, with 1.3 being the average numbers of neighbours you class as a good friend. Cup of tea anyone?
