Have Your Say

GPs

GPs

Following a recent Government announcement encouraging local GPs to offer more out-of-hours care, it appears the majority of you are in favour of this with a mere 8% happy with the hours your GP is currently available. 45% of you believe there should be much more out-of-hours care available and the same amount (45%) think there should be a little more. Considering the average Urban Life member's busy working lifestyle, it's not surprising that 9 in 10 think there should be more out of hours care.

US Elections

Vote

In the ongoing US elections, if voting was allowed in the UK then Barack Obama would be a very happy man. Just under half (47%) of you would have voted for him in February, with 30% opting for Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic presidential candidate. In the (now decided) race for the Republican candidacy, John McCain was the winner with 26% of your votes in February, which mimicked the actual result.

House Prices

Houses

Urban Lifers are divided in which direction UK house prices will go in the next 12 months. 44% think house prices will fall, 32% think they will rise and 22% anticipate no movement in the next 12 months. With more of you anticipating a fall in house prices in the next 12 months, this is reflective of the current market forecast of a slight downturn in house prices in 2008.
