The Green Life

11% of you do everything you can to help the environment, with two thirds stating you do some things but could do more. 89% of those who do something re-use plastic bags and 76% turn the tap off when brushing your teeth. As for recycling, 86% recycle paper, 83% glass bottles or jars and 73% tins and cans. Improving your green credentials is something you seem keen to do, with 61% stating you do more now than a year ago. Composting and recycling more are two things a number of you would like to do but don't currently do. According to 87%, it is business and governments who should be doing more to look after the planet.

London Life

We asked those of you who live in a London borough what your opinions of London were. 43% stated you loved it, with just 2% hating it. Reasons for living in London include, there being so much to do (42%) and loving the cosmopolitan vibe (38%) through to it being the best city in the world (26%). So how long do you have to have lived in London to be called a Londoner? Well 29% believe you have to have lived your whole life in London, whereas 12% think that as soon as you live there you can be called a Londoner. On average the Londoners amongst you think that 7 years is enough time to settle in and be termed a Londoner. The top 3 things you think best epitomises a Londoner are a love of the city (59%), good knowledge of the transport systems (55%) and an appreciation for its culture and history (50%).

Urban Dating

34% of you have visited an online dating site, of which 54% are currently single. 15% have met someone through an online dating site and then been on a subsequent date. Of this 23% are currently single. So, just under half of those who have been to an online dating site have been on a subsequent date. Those who are currently a member of an online dating site have been so for just under 18 months on average. Male Urbanites who use online dating sites have dated 3 people on average and you women have dated on average one less (2).

Sexy Urbanites

9 in 10 were up for the second sex survey of the year. This one went a bit deeper than the previous one and a little taster of what we found out follows. 8 in 10 currently have a sexual partner, being with them for just over 6 years on average. 13% of males and 10% of females rate themselves as excellent in bed. 4% state you are not that good in bed and 1% rate yourselves as awful! However your partners are rated higher, with 23% stating your current partner is excellent in bed and 55% rating them as the best you've ever had! On the whole you are content with your love lives with 83% saying you're currently happy. Half of you have had a one night stand with someone you had just met and half have cheated on someone. We're hoping to run some of these results in the paper and on Metro.co.uk so we won't reveal all here!
