The majority of you favour the EU expansion in January (55%). However 53% of you objected to the new member states being allowed full access to the jobs market back in 2004. An overwhelming majority believes there should be tighter immigration controls for Bulgarians and Romanians next year (83%).

As for debt levels, 58% of you are worried about the rising level of consumer debt, but only 43% are worried about your own debt level. Half knew the correct interest rate figure at the time (4.75%), even though it has risen since then!
