Additionally, over one in ten of you stated that seeing a film advertised in a national newspaper or magazine would help you decide which film to go see at the cinema. This is a higher response than any other media, with 8% of you stating internet and 4% stating radio as advertising medium that would help them to choose a film to see at the cinema.

A proportion of you also suggested that you would be much more likely to see a film in the cinema if it looked like the kind of film which would be better on the big screen i.e. action packed.

Speaking of looking better on the bigger screen, a few of you mentioned certain female stars getting their kit off as a large incentive to see films on the big screen - boys, shallow, no!

We also asked you where you look for information on cinema listings. Mirroring your need for information on tap, some 80% of you use the Internet to look for cinema listings. Some of you showed that the Metro is more than just a good read with 4 in 10 of you stating that you use Metro for cinema listings, compared to only 27% who look in the local paper and 14% using listings magazines.
