The Da Vinci Code
In light of the May release of The Da Vinci Code and its surrounding controversy we asked you your thoughts. Over half (53%) of you have read or are in the process of reading Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. A quarter of you don't actually ever plan on reading it. Two thirds planned to go and see the film in the cinema, rising to 80% for those who had read the book. 76% believe that the novel is a mixture of fact and fiction. Two in ten of you are complete cynics and think the whole lot is a work of fiction. NHS
Hewitt's Blunder
Some 79% of you did not believe the Health Secretary when she stated that the NHS had had 'its best year ever'. Meanwhile over 81% believe that the government has 'mismanaged' the NHS
China
A fairly liberal bunch, some 55% of you don't believe there is anything to fear in light of China's economic growth, whilst almost 30% think it is something to be feared (6% of you just don't care!)
USA & Iran
We asked if you thought it likely that the US will take some kind of military action against Iran within the year, 64% said yes.
Fever Pitch
A rightly cynical bunch, some 45% of you thought that England would put in an average performance over in Germany, and predicted them to be out in the quarters, whilst 20% thought that they will be out in the semis. An optimistic 6% of you had every faith in the squad to pull out all stops and bring the cup home, bless you.
Bird Flu
Not a group to be shaken by horror stories, some 80% of you are not worried in the slightest about a threat of bird flu to the UK. Over a third of you think that the government is doing enough to combat a bird flu epidemic (42% don't know).
Free Katie
Is romance dead? On average you miserable lot only gave Katie & Tom Cruise's pending marriage 4 years, with only 8% categorising it as everlasting love.
