On Urban Life this year we are running a film poll on each wave so we can measure the most popular films across the year and see how you rate them against each other. In October, the percentage of all Urban Life members that had seen each newly released film was as follows:

YOU THE CRITIC!

The film the highest number of you had seen at the cinema when asked in October was Pride and Prejudice - 8% had seen this.

The film rated as the best was Serenity, scoring 8 out of 10. Pride and Prejudice was in second place with 7.2 out of 10.

METRO, RIPPED

We asked you whether you had ripped out a page or section from Metro in the last month for any reason, and suprisingly 33% of Urban Lifers said they had. This behaviour is highest amongst female Urbanites.

Of the 270 "other" comments, most frequent reasons were: to keep a job advertisement, to hang on to a Sudoku puzzle to do later, and to keep cinema listings or a restaurant review.

Creature Some "quirkier" reasons involved hanging on to pictures of 'cute' animals that appear in the paper. As one Urban Lifer put it "pictures of funny little animals for my creature collage!"
