NOTE TO ALL 2007 URBAN LIFE MEMBERS: You may notice a number of editorial features in Metro during the week of Monday 14th to Friday 18th January, asking for volunteers for Urban Life 2008. Please do not respond to these, we have reserved your place already!

Again this year Urban Life will consist of 7 main surveys sent out every 6 weeks. As before, in between these main surveys we will be sending you the occasional extra survey on a topical theme

The first of our 7 main surveys will be sent to you in mid-February, from which of course we’ll feed you back the highlights of the results via this website and also in the form of stories in the paper. I hope you enjoy taking an active part in the future of Metro this year!

The first main survey of Urban Life 2008 will be emailed out in mid-February. We will share some of the key results with you in March, both in the pages of Metro and on this website. Watch this space!

As a thank you for your time, there are hundreds of prizes to win after each survey. In total our prize pot is in excess of £62,000 this year! There will also be a grand prize draw in December for a cheque for £5,000, open to those who have completed at least 6 of the 7 main surveys.
